"For we walk by faith, not by sight" - II Corinthians 5:7

I received this e-mail at the beginning of the year and just wanted to share it with whomever reads my blogs...it makes me think a lot about all the efforts of the world to "wipe God out of the picture," but yet His existence is undeniable no matter how hard they try. As the Lord said upon His second coming, "...every knee shall bow, and every tongue WILL CONFESS that Jesus Christ is Lord!" (Romans 14:11)

SOMEBODY'S RAISING THEIR KID RIGHT!

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.

TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.

TEACHER: Did you see God up there?

TOMMY: No.

TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he just doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.

The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher?

TOMMY: Yes

LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?

TOMMY: No

LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she possibly may not even have one!

(You Go Girl!)

BEAUTIFUL CHRISTIAN SISTER

** I received this via e-mail and am posting it here because it is very true and encouraging to me.

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian', I'm not shouting 'I'm clean livin''
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!
